With enormous efforts of the faculties and staffs for many years, the College of Public Health (CPH) has been accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) of the United States in June 2017. Following the accreditation, it has become the member of the Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) which is the first one outside North America. Allison Foster, the Deputy Executive Director and her colleagues of ASPPH visited the CPH on August 28-29, 2017 to introduce the relevant rights of the membership as well as the system of Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) (Photo 1). They also visited the Office of International Affairs of NTU (Photo 2).
At the same time, the College of Public Health held a CEPH accreditation announcement party and press conference on August 29 (Main Photo). The Acting President Chang of NTU delivered his congratulation to the achievement of the CPH. While Dean Chan of CPH acknowledged the supports from NTU and from the China Trust Charity Foundation, and declared that CPH will continue to make efforts toward the direction of globalization.
